We totally understand that there can be a little bit of nervousness when booking a wax, especially if you’re a first-timer. We’re here to put you at ease with a few tips to get the most out of your wax experience. Our most common FAQs are below, but feel free to drop us a line if you have any additional questions
WAXING
How long should I wait between waxes?
We suggest rebooking an appointment every 3-4 weeks depending on how quickly or slowly your hair grows.
If I’ve never waxed before, how will my skin react?
Usually 4-5 weeks depending on how quickly or slowly your hair grows.
How long does your hair need to be for waxing?
An eighth of an inch.
A few golden rules for the first 24 hours after waxing:
Do not sunbathe
Do not exfoliate (chemical or physical)
Do not exercise
If I’m on my period, can I still schedule a wax?

What type of wax do you use?
What is the difference between the Basic Bikini, Landing Strip Bikini and Brazilian?
Basic Bikini – Only the hair that would show if you were wearing a traditional bathing suit is removed
Landing Strip Bikini – It removes slightly more than the Basic Bikini but does not remove from the Brazilian zone
Brazilian Bikini – Involves the removal of all hair in the pelvic area, front and back.
How should I care for my skin post-wax?
We suggest exfoliating 24 hours after service with a sugar scrub

Do I need to wait to wash my face or apply makeup after my service?
SPRAY TANNING
Must-knows before my tanning session:
Dress appropriately – AKA loose fitting and dark clothes.
No denim, yoga pants or undies
Shower, shave and exfoliate at least 4 hours before your appointment (but the night before is preferred). This gives your pores time to close and avoids discoloration.
If you’re waxing, make sure to wax 24 hours (or more) before your appointment.
